This is an excellent and challenging theme. Image as metaphor. I expect the evocative images already posted will no doubt prompt many more.

Dave, regarding my post- I took that pic back in September and didn't give it much consideration. After reading this week's theme and reviewing my cycle pics from this year, hindsight suddenly made that pic very relevant to me.
