    Good morning.

I waited too long yesterday to choose. Now that there's only two choices I'll go with Grimly.

Many thanks for the votes, guys.
That shot was purely off the cuff, when a beam of sunlight came in the skylight in the workshop roof and slanted across the XS, just as I was starting to strip it for mechanical work.
Anyway, I think the theme can be 'accessorise'. Any things you'd hang on to your bike that the maker didn't see fit to give you. Ranging from a clutch bag with pearl necklace, to a trailer or a big honking set of spotlights.
      This kind of thing...

My “Dave Dave Navagtion System”. Magnetic tank mount map holder. Have had one of these since mid 1990s (when I got idea to ride bike more than to work and around town).
Continued to use it even when also had a GPS.

This system sometimes requires me to export my mapping database (remove the map), and reformat the data (refold the map) and then import the data (put refolded map back in).
And I found this technology to be incompatable with many newer bikes (having plastic bodywork). Is no firmware update available for that.

OOhhh, a map, don't see those much anymore... I hate to, but got to wonder if the younger folks could even find their way around with one of those? I'm sure they'd never get it folded back properly

Funny....I remember being in grade 6 (Around 1976) and we did a couple of classes dedicated to how to read/understand a map. I bet they don't do that anymore....lol....It definitely stood out for me.

When I bought this bike it was gold and blue, and that's it. No fairing. No emblems, no lettering.
I bought a fairing and painted it as best I could, and I added all the lettering (by decal). I particularly liked the gold lettering on the front, and the reflective SUZUKI lettering on the tank. Also I added a "circuit rider" -- the silhouette of a man on a horse, which is a symbol of my trade as a Methodist preacher.

New-fangled GPS (yes I can and do still read and fold maps properly; even know how to use a compass ) as well as a power port for the phone/helmet/etc.

Stretching the rules a bit with no bike at least this time some "Suzuki-ish" content.
Second set of CBX bodywork with an accesory replica S fairing painted to match.

My 2 favorite accessories have got to be the phone holder, along with my Bluetooth Helmet, which has made riding even more enjoyable. A close 3rd, the volt meter which keeps me informed that my 4th favorite accessory, the SH775, is keeping my bike charging and happy. And I just like this picture.

Just got these crash bars as a gift from my kid. Basically as payment for all the time I take care of the grandkids. I think I earned them cuz those kids are brutal. I parked the bike in an iffy spot yesterday and when I got back it had fallen over. The new bars did their job. Feeling much better about some of the back road riding I do now.
