Thanks Cowboy. I really like the fire station mural you posted as well. Great artistry there.

I had fun incorporating the bike into the "art".

            Great pix. Tough competition!

My submission is the wider view, although I am including a close up so you can enjoy the phrasing as well.
I have no explanation for the four inset busts at the top, but they are (L to R) Warren Buffett, Harry S. Truman, Bill Gates, and Ralph Nader.

Oh, this is an antiques building about a block and a half from my house. Notice the elephant on the motorcycle in the center!

                ......................
                I interperet this as:
The subject-theme-topic is "some art" (... and bike blah blah).
And the picture that you submitted, for the theme-subject-topic this week of "some art", happens to include a mural-painting-on-a-wall of a fire truck on a fire station wall, but our submissions do not need to be a mural-painting-on-a-wall, any more than it needs to be a fire truck or on a fire station. Our submissions need to include "some art".

I want to ask/discuss this before I ride into the Lourve to pose bike in front of the Monna Liesa.
(Of course, the definition of "some art" is subjective.
We went to Art Prize in Grand Rapids a few years ago, and after looking at several "installations", we walked along and were looking at another one and was looking for the sign-description for a while before I realised it was actually a real pile of construction debris.)

If you did mean for the subject-theme-topic to be art-mural-painting-on-a-wall (as others apparently seemed to think), please confirm somehow.

My interpretation was your bike with any art, using a mural as an example. I liked the mural so that's the route I chose.

As it happened, a few weeks ago I stopped to look at this

Have noticed this many times, but usally late afternoon with more shadows from the ribs, and usally had cars parked in front of it.
Went back today, about noon when would be less shadows from the ribs. (I don't think that statement is divulging any of my personal weirdness that you don't already suspect.)

Can not think of any other "art" picture that I would have.

If I were in Chicago I could go to the Honorable Richard J Daley Plaza.
Hey, Thats were they got that Picasso.

Yes any art is fine although if someone can ride into and get pictures of anything within the Louvre, I would be greatly impressed and ready to vote for you immediately

Yeah, I had a few other pictures of these from years ago in the "riding Game". But wasn't able to get them back from PhotoSuckit... Likely still have them in my old computer, but not gonna bother to fire that up just for a couple pics, lol...
