Canoes and kayaks were floating inside the flooded boathouse.

Rubber meets the road - Storm 64.1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red
2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.Comment

Nope. I did not (but kinda did try to make it look kinda like I did).
But, Norm did a little later that day at another location nearby

As you can see, was a lot of rain just before that BC weekend and a lot of rain that day. WHich I recall, cuz was significant to me because the next day (I left sidestand down) was when I was off the road into the soft-soggy-wett shoulder (and busted MY shoulder, well, collar bone). So, yah, I recall the rain and flooding and soft shoulder.Bikes
