I looked up Kootenays. It's a beautiful Canadian National Park. It features the Kootenay river, waterfalls, mountains and wildlife. It seems like a fantastic place to visit in the middle of nowhere...

So, how about for next week subject "The middle of nowhere" someplace off the beaten path...
20210615_101302.jpg This picture was in Colorado. I had to pee, so I took a dirt road off the main road... next thing I was in the middle of nowhere.
    My Motorcycles:
22 Kawasaki Z900 RS (Candy Tone Blue)
22 BMW K1600GT (Probably been to a town near you)

81 1100e Street Bike (with race engine)
    79 1000e (all original)

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.
