Steve's pic documents quite an event there.

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

Am I really the one able to do this today?

                        Baatfam - 3
                        Redman - 3
                        Steve - 3
                        Gustov - 1
                        Kerrfunk - 1

Looks like we have a three way tie between Baatfam, Redman, and Steve if someone can confirm my counts

                          OK, I'll break the tie.

Showing this to Mrs. Steve, she really likes Baatfam's picture, so now it's 4 for Baatfam.

First....Thank you Steve for setting up the tie breaker. Winning sure did surprise me.
I owe it all to my Uncle Bob who took the photo.

For this week's theme, lets try this: Monumental
Monumental structure, monumental view, monumental blunder, monumental ideas, etc., you get the idea...

How about the Huntington Memorial Arch
was built between 1924 and 1929 by the Cabell County War Memorial Association as a memorial to the dead and to those who served the county in World War I. It is built of gray Indiana Limestone on a gray granite base. It measures 42 feet high, 34 feet wide, and 9 feet deep. It features Classical Revival style bas-relief carvings. The structure was rededicated in 1980. It is the only triumphal style arch in West Virginia.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.
