I would think sandy is really glad to have that old pic. Nice pic with bikes and guys lined up, nothing but them and the ocean and a hint of the pavement. Great pic with good memorys, and then later more significance. Sometimes that happens, take a picture for a reason/purpose, but then later it has other significance.

I'm somewhat intrigued by the construction of the sculpture in Burque's image. The lead jet appears to be floating. I'm assuming that the tail must must be connected to the nose of the one behind it. Some thought and engineering definitely involved there.sigpic
