THis pic is not first time trying such.
First time I tried this I walked out there and checked how sturdy it was by trying to rock sideways and jumping around. I checked the condition of all the boards, and saw where was supports underneath. ANd then I rode out there slowly, rode out there under power but slowly, was quite carefull as where I put down side stand. GOt some pictures.
WHen I went to leave, then I noticed the first part had a slope to it. Doah! Was hard to walk the bike backwards up that incline.

THis pic is after I learned to back down, so when went to leave, could ride up and off.

I got other pics from some other such occassions, at this park and at another park, 5 & 6 & 7 years ago. Havent done it since. Maybe getting less adventerous, maybe getting smarter. Maybe not feeling as agaile, not as nimble, less strength.
Oh, and, recent years they have not had that metal plate hinged ramp in place, leaving a 4-5 inch step. If it was at one park, I would think someone just lost it. But at both township parks and county park and city boat launch park nearby, they all stopped having such a metal hinged ramp. Maybe some new interpetation of some standard or policy, or maybe some supervisior heard about some goofey guy riding motorcykle out there.

PS: I got other pics of bike out on the boat launch dock, some over the water, some in the winter when the dock is stored in in the parking lot.
Some of those other pics of bike on dock, I think, are nicer than this one. But this one shows that metal plate hinged ramp, so I could tell that part of the story.
(See, I aint so much trying to win this photo game.)

Rob - I had put in a little too much oil, and didn't have a pump handy. It did work to get it back to the correct level, draining out of the fill hole into that coffee can.

I don't think I would ever try to remove an engine by myself! I have seen a video of a guy and his two kids trying to get a motor out by laying it on it's side like that. Didn't go so well for them.

Trev, drain plug is too messy, it always gets oil all over your hand.

                          Ha!

I'll volenteer. If nobody does it bye time I am up and around. Might interfere with morning breakfast ride, but, for the good of all.
