Per Google. "Chicken strips" refer to the unused, un-worn rubber on the outer edges of a motorcycle tire, indicating how much the bike has been leaned in turns. While sometimes mockingly used to imply a lack of rider skill or fear of leaning, they are commonly found on street-ridden bikes and do not affect performance or mean a rider issigpic2002 KLR650 Ugly but fun!
