I've made allot of things for bikes over the years, but the most resent useful item was the trailer and hitch that I made out of a 650L frame. I built it to bring home 1100E engine from LA. then a few camp outs and wood hauling on my place, still using it nd its next trip is to Toledo Or. last of June.

I have quite a few, but this is one of the most recent and my current favourite on my GS. Just tickled that I could put modern instruments on this old bike for $60 and a few hours’ time.

Rich82GS750TZ I was impressed when I laid on those a few days back. One of those items I tend to look at from time to time but never pull the trigger on. Looks good!Comment

GS\'s since 1982: 55OMZ, 550ES, 750ET, (2) 1100ET\'s, 1100S, 1150ES. Current ride is an 83 Katana. Wifes bike is an 84 GS 1150ESComment

The ignition relay made a huge difference in starting. It can sit for months and after priming the carbs for 10 seconds, the starter spins for two seconds and it fires up. It was never that easy to start before the relay.
(Ignore the blue RTV sealant on the coils. I replaced the wires and had to seal up the holes)

Dang a bunch of good;uns this weel, TSCC on GS1000, CV carbs with no choke cable, modern instruments on GS, but got to vote for the one thinking backwards. Voting for Rob S. for modifying his oil cooler to make it not do what it is supposed to do... Rob, hope you don't use that kind of thinking on your side stand, modifying it to not do what it is supposed to do wouldn't be good.1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw. Voting for Jedz123. I've seen it in person. And it is an engineering marvel.
Really, I just like the composition.
