Went on a day run with the local Miata club. Sometimes we hit warp speed.

Went for ride up to Muskegon.
Got back into town just after sunset, still had some color in the sky.
        Used the higher ISO

Here can see reflection of the color in windows and brake disc

And found another place to get bike posed in pic, here looking down the river between the piers
(not really a parking space, somewhat but not entirely blocking the walkway)

Dave, by design or accident, you caught one of my favorite effects - distroting light thru the windshield in the water shot.

Sunday night seems to be turning into unofficial photo night....

This is one of my favorite buildings in town, and a tough one to photograph. At ground level there are trees in the way along with an annoying light post that is always in the way - its the bright white light in the middle left. Last night I found an exterior staircase (fire escape)on a building across the street ,two long flights up sooooo.... I did a dumb thing and went up.

Thanks for explaining your vantage point, otherwize I would have been asking. I can imagine you seeing those white trimming and thinking would be a good subject, but recognised the problems. But kept at it till you found some place.
                        Impressive.

There’s actually another building almost exactly like that one in town, but it’s not stand alone like that one. It’s within a row of buildings. Same windows, trim, same year marker on it. It’s a drab color though.
After goofing with the wide lens last night, I’m thinking I might be able to get a pic of it from ground level.

I didn't particularly love the images I got last night, but..... practice..

Apparently birds can see colors that humans can't. I dunno, maybe they see something in the seed block that's unappetizing.

Nah. It was literally stairs. None of that TV movie pulldown ladder stuff. It wasn't even chained off, nor was there a keep off sign.

The light around the corner was my favorite, thanks.

Earlier tonight. I'm quite pleased with these.

I generally try to shy away from the dead center lead in, but.... it's an alley.
