Tricky indeed, Glen, to get the moon in the photo. Nice job there.

I asked my dad how to use the camera he gave me. His advice, point, click, experiment and maybe you'll get lucky. Thanks pop, not much help there. He's the one that when I asked for help growing up would say, did you read the manual? i'll look for one online and figure it out here soon. Maybe by the time the next super moon rises.

Well, Dad was partially right. I've learned the most in the last year with my new camera by using and experimenting. Reading helped to make sense of some things, but often after something went right... or wrong. Good thing with digital is there's no worry about wasting film so experimenting is free....

I've been taking mine to work regularly and stopping on my way home to grab pics, even if for only a half hour. It's been hugely helpful.

And a great way to unwind after work too I'm sure.

Man, the moon setting while the sun was rising this morning was incredible. I was on the road just wishing I could stop for that.

Thanks guys....Took that with an old Canon 134mm manual lens, on my GX85.

I was out at 4am trying to get some moon shots, with cool clouds happening, but didn't use my better tripod....So nothing worth saving....
When the sun came up, I did some flower work, which I enjoy. Felt better....LOL..

Thanks. When I saw that I was hoping that I could have those stones protrude into the sky for a strong visual line, but had to make do.
