Thanks Bob. Shot it with the Panny 45-150 wide open w/+1 diopter and slight zoom (72mm). Backlite obviously.

Another crocus from today with some funky PS editing. Kind of mixed feelings on the result. Something new I was trying.

Went out for an errand yesterday evening. First time out, other than Tuesday early senior shopping hour, in three weeks. Found that HomeDeepot had closed already (closing at 6pm now).
38 degF, but clear, so On way home Took a side trip to downtown and took the mile walk out to the pier.

When I left house I saw was 38degF, and was thinking of going to pier. So my thought is prepare for about 15degF less. So had winter jacket and sweatshirt and hat and gloves.
Is interesting to see folks strolling on boardwalk cuz had been a somewhat nice afternoon, say clear and 45, but now is evening so a little cooler, and get closer to beach and then out on pier, is a lot cooler and more of a breeze, and see a lot of folks turn around cuz is too cold for how they were prepared. Tourist!

The rain always seems to make the colours pop. Nice shots.

I too saw the flowers in yard today had water drops, and was an overcast good for pictures. But didnt think I would get anything much better than before.... at least not to get wet and cold for.

Not nearly as nice as Bob's exquisite shots, but when I saw these near walking back from the above spot, I figured I'd try. Its aready pretty heavily cropped. In particular, i like the bottom right flower and the diagonal line the leaves below it make, but i couldn't get close enough to get a clear shot.
