Didn't happen to be carrying a real camera, but the smartphone didn't disappoint. Sometimes I'll use it as a magnifying glass. Just open the camera app and zoom in to read tiny print or whatever.

My choice, when I put in for this in January the thought was to visit the Son in Florida, Covid 19 blew that plan but with 22 Vacation days coming this year I went ahead and took the time.

Seems to be something of a pansy challenge in recent week or so here.

                        GX1, 45mm f1.8 w/ 16mm extension, so regular pansy about fills frame.
P1080342 by Dave Redman, on Flickr

And that is about as close as could focus with that setup. Backed out just a little to get all in frame.
Was hoping for a little sharper.

I am assuming the speckles are pollen.

Maybe some of the gearheads on the forum are talking about the pansy.

                        .

So, about 1.5 pansies with that setup.

                          Looks pretty good.
Nice detail in the flower center. Maybe just a little soft because ISO 3200? Might have been a little sharper at 1600 or 800...might.
