Bob, I like the glass and door. I zoomed in the the door. The bars against the black, then the yellow behind is a cool look.

Scott, that face is a cool find, that I'm assuming took some time to carve.
Many years ago I was in NY state doing a mini hike around a park and waterfall. The creek bed and surrounding rock was mostly smooth. There were names and initials carved into the stone dating to the late 1800s. Old time graffiti.

Interesting find, and some good shots.

I wonder if that is what is meant by "chiseled features".

The restful church wall pic is another beauty DB. The limited muted colours work well with the balanced composition. I like how you timed the tree shadow to work with the rest.

Thanks. I was given two old lenses, which I bought an adapter for to fit them on my camera. I've been experimenting. Night probably isn't an ideal time to experiment, especially with a manual lens, but I'm a bit of a glutton for punishment in that regard. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, etc..

In a fit of my own nitpicking, I now can't unsee the area on the right of the second shot where the side of the window is not straight / parallel with the edge of the shot. I went back earlier and fixed it, but better.

Pic of the week game prompted me to go over some old photos of our trips south. This one was always a favourite of mine. Backcountry, mid Utah south of Green River 2005. Old Red Truck doing it's job.
