Looks like it was a little windy...
I walked by our town's T ball field a few weeks ago. It's in an out of the way corner in town that I haven't been to in years. The feeling of times gone by was immediate and profound.

and a faster lens is better at that.
Glen, I am sure you are well familiar with this.


I did this as a study the other day, with 45mm f/1.8
At full stopped down (f/22) on top, more depth of field so foreground and background in focus.
And at wide open (f/1.8) on bottom, with shallower depth of field (as described decades ago, have a new name for it these days) so background is out of focus, on purpose.

Will be back when in bloom in a few day, maybe get focus better on the flowers.
Is in a little wood lot behind the back yard.

Kind of a cloudy, rainy day today but took my new to me Panasonic GX85 out for a 10 km hike today anyway. I think I'm going like this camera. First photo on the camera by the way.

LOL. I actually ended up sitting on one the rocks which was a great vantage point until I had to figure out how to get my almost 70 year old body back up while holding the camera in one hand, pack in the other and trying not to fall in. Should have maybe thought of that before I sat down. Getting old ain't for sissies.
