That is beautiful.
Coincidentally, I got my '98 Bandit 1200 running this weekend. (Finally got back to my Covid projects.) It is unlikely that mine will end up looking the sweet.

Yep, too many bikes...I got the time, just don't ride as often nor as far as I yus'ta. Beginning to blame the birthdays. Got my "99" Bandit 1200 out yesterday, for the first time in a couple of months, and it seems I have a carb. problem on # 4 carb. Wouldn't have thought that in that short of time but it is what it is.1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw. ZL600 Eliminator, 1999 Bandit 1200S, 2005 Bandit 1200S, 2000 Kaw. ZRX 1100

Motorcycles are like women...you can never have too many.
That's my opinion, and it aught to be yours. And yes, I know that opinions are like armpits - everyone's got one and it usually stinks!
On a more serious note, 20th Century Cycles, Billy Joel's personal museum/shop, is closing after 15 years.
Been there twice, and it contains a couple dozen of his bikes in a storefront on a commercial strip in a small Long Island town. It's obviously for tax purposes (put a sign on the door, open it to the public and your shop becomes a 'museum'), but it's still nice.
Most bikes are on battery tenders and are resto-mods; only a couple are being worked on. I remember a 1000 Katana and a 500/four Honda.
Billy will also be selling his Long Island mansion and relocating to Florida for health reasons. Good luck to one of New York's own.

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.
