I have some spare tapered roller head bearings and some wheel bearings that fit a KZ750. If these parts fit a 650, and you guys are in need, I'll donate them to the project.

ED.... What year 750???? I can do the cross referencing to see if they are compatible to the 650. Not really a project for the charity anymore since we struck the deal for me to buy it, so I would consider that its fair I would buy parts now. Unless that you consider me a charitable cause...HA HA.

1981 KZ750E2 model Chuck. The 4 cylinder model. Many parts are same as the 650.

Partsfish is the go to place for Kawi parts fiches. I will soon be starting a new thread ( maybe ) about the progress since this is now my bike. Frank Z has boxed up the body work and it will be here by the end of the week. Now the rest of the story is about to be written.

Took the tailpiece / seat trim up to my buddys paint supply store he manages and he took the scanner to the area under where the seat had protected it from sun damages. Scan came back as Honda Candy Ruby Red. So he mixed up a sample and put it in an aerosol can so we could do a test shot along side the unfaded original paint.

Let it flash a good half hour and took it outside in the direct bright sunlight...as spot on as anyone could ask for in my opinion. So, we now have a viable color to shoot it with. Baby steps...but one step of forward progress!!!!

The Kawasaki.com fishe was different from any other I've seen. There was a lookup for "where used" and supercession. Awesome resource before Kawasaki pulled it. Kawasaki is discontinuing lots of older parts so that must be why they don't host the older fishe anymore.
