That is one very nice looking machine Bob. Glad to see you are getting right back on the horse. I just picked up one very special '85 K100 (maybe the only one like it in the US) last week Bob. Will be introducing it here next week. Will probably be picking the brains of you and other BMW guys for sure.

Nice bike. The S was always my favorite of the recent Boxer Twins. I had my wife sit on the back of one at the dealer last year and she thought it was comfortable, or at least roomy enough.

Nice looking bike Bob. I've always liked those opposed twins. Congrats!

Wow that's some serious snazz right there! Best of luck with it. Just remember what I said about that German air and you'll be fine.

Great looking machine. Hope you have a blast with it.

Maybe attend one of those 'Blessing of the Bikes' events.

                        Allie, Robert, thanks!

Rode her to work today! First real ride...
It was misting out and dark, but still was fun. It's a whole different kind of feel after all the I4s....

Wow, congratulations, Bob. No offense to the K-bikes, but this is the machine that works for me. I had an R100RS, which I both liked and disliked. Fit very well, except the weird clip-on angle, but the power wasn't there. Mostly comfortable and handled pretty well. The first time I rode an R1100S, it just seemed perfect......power was plenty enough, handles well for me, and it's exactly ergonomically right.

                          Most cool machine.

Yeah, I knew about the Triumph, and thought it was a fluke.
