im torn between 2 motorcycles

I had a Hodaka 100 first, then a Honda 350CL. The Honda was nowhere near as easy as the Hodaka in the off road category, but it was a really fun bike. I took the Honda on weekend trips of 500 - 1,000 miles.

Then I got a Honda 450CB, really a huge difference. Those weekend trips were a lot easier on me and the bike, and it was a blast around town - still relatively light, great on gas. I can only imagine that the 500/550 would be even better than the 450 was.

I'd get both. If you have to pick just one......get the 550.
