Here's my FZ that I've been working on for a while (too long) now, I bought it as a sorry looking thing and straight away tore it down. I uprated the frant and rear ends using YZF1000 Thunderace parts and engine has been rebuilt. Although the paint work has been done once I wasn't that happy with it so next month it goes back in. I've had it about two years and last friday finally got it running

From here everything about that bike looks spectacular. Glad to hear it's running after all your efforts.

Stunning, one of the coolest sportbikes of the 80's-really nicely modded.

I've got a local lead on one of these, what are the important questions to ask about it? He mentioned something about the starter being out, big deal? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

nothing that I know of, when I purchased mine, I didn't know if it even ran, and or turned over....but I went at it like any other 30 year old bike....
