    1993 V-Max

Was just skimming a 1993 Cycle World, and it got Mr. Max down the 1320 in 10.94 @ 125.34 mph. This was long before the magazine started correcting it's quarter-mile times for altitude (and humidity?).

They were hoping for high nines with the new Max a few years ago but that didn't happen. Just too heavy.

I know there was some talk here recently about how quick or slow the V-Max is. Just thought I'd add Cycle World's two cents. I've never ridden one.
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.
