    Latest of many Suzuki resorations

Hi, an old 'new' member here, been away too long so had to re-register, here is my latest Suzi, I gave it a total nut & bolt resto, along with some welding, & a bit of machining, every single bit was grit-blasted clean, painted it in the garden!!
    This one is a GSX1400

    Welcome back to the forum.
You've really done an outstanding job there! What an inspiration, I needed that, thank you.

Water cooled? If not, that's quite a large oil cooler.

That engine guard is not stock, is it?
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

Thanks for the comments, its actually an oil-cooled engine, & a large cooler as its a 1402cc engine that holds 4.8L of oil!!

Correct on the engine-guard, I consider them a 'must' on these bikes & all my 1400s ( I have 4 ) have them fitted, otherwise serious case damage can occur if dropped.

I have a beautiful 1980 GS1000G & the similarity/evolution over 23 years is remarkable, apart from the latter having fuel-injection & programmable ECU.
