    1st generation R1 1999

    Picked this up in dec went thru it completely all fluids valves, jet kit,plugs,brakes,chain sprocket,added baffle to hollow can,chain sprockets, seat cover, rear seat cowl,pipe hanger,windscreen,grips ,levers,made bracket for lic plate.was mounted to rear axle.Still have black stock seats and passenger pegs.This is bike 4 in stable.

    IMO in 7 to ten years value on this bike will be 10000.00 plus like the 1st Gen gsxr

            I just did a quick peek and found two very nice '86 GSXR 1100s for less than $5K each.

              I can't see ten grand even in ten years, but I just wrench on them. It is a nice bike though. We had a nice mostly stock red and white one that we bought for $2,500 in a four bike package deal and there is one on Clist that need a bit of TLC for around that. I think there are too many of them made for that kind of price, but who knows what will bring in 10 years.
