Well...if the cafe is the route to go here....I'd suggest USD forks {every bodys doing it} and make both the exhaust tips "spin", gatling style.

I'm a big fan of naked Wings-and of Valkyries in particular.

Larry, I am not a big fan of that style, either, but I saved that picture some time ago when someone was talking about Wings being stodgy old land yachts.

This one is definitely on the other side of the coin.

Now THAT is nice!! If Wings were made like that, I would have been riding one a LONG time ago.

I don't know, Earl. The ergonomics of that particular setup don't look so appealing, but I applaud the imagination it took to create it

I'd imagine that turbo right below your forearm would make things a little warm. I am intrigued now though, what kind of performance can a boosted GL1500 engine make?

I hear that the sixes are nice. I owned the last year 1000, a '79 I think, and it was a pig. Compared to a 1000G or 1100 G, it was slow, uncomfortable, and ill handling with no ground clearance. Bodywork or paint wouldn't make the difference.

One of my Coworkers has a 1500 Valkyrie. He loves it, and it hauls him and his wife in comfort with plenty of power.

I sure wouldn't turn down a chance to ride it though. The seating appears to be somewhat like my B12. Can't say for sure though from one pic.

                        The new one is hideous.

Except that that was a real build and has been extensively documented on Gold Wing sites.
