Larry, I am not a big fan of that style, either, but I saved that picture some time ago when someone was talking about Wings being stodgy old land yachts.

I'd imagine that turbo right below your forearm would make things a little warm. I am intrigued now though, what kind of performance can a boosted GL1500 engine make?

I hear that the sixes are nice. I owned the last year 1000, a '79 I think, and it was a pig. Compared to a 1000G or 1100 G, it was slow, uncomfortable, and ill handling with no ground clearance. Bodywork or paint wouldn't make the difference.

One of my Coworkers has a 1500 Valkyrie. He loves it, and it hauls him and his wife in comfort with plenty of power.

I sure wouldn't turn down a chance to ride it though. The seating appears to be somewhat like my B12. Can't say for sure though from one pic.

that caf? gl looks pretty intriguing! and since old wings are fairly plentiful, that might be an option for a caf? build that I've been planning on. but the Valkyrie was made up till 2015, but looked nothing like what it did
