Those 3 wheelers are cool and quite collectible. I believe they did away with them for safety reasons. You can't turn at speed without getting tossed off unless you are spinning the rear tires. Congrats on a nice find!

I found a PDF manual online and got the specs for testing resistance on the CDI, Reg/Rec stators etc.

If you need a link, let me know and I'll see if I can find it again.

Thanks, I have a factory repair manual on the way. Just need time fitting it in with all the other projects.

Thank you. Yeah mud, stones and wet grass are great power steering on them.

Had to pay 1000.00 for this one though, but it is an '86 350X a hot item. Picked it up tonight. Another barn find.
I made a comment in another post about the bikes in many signatures and couldnt figure how some could keep up with so many bikes. This makes number 9 atv's and just realized...it's an addiction for sure.

Dang, you have the set now! (Providing you still have the 85). I don't really follow the pricing on those, but 1k sounds like a good deal.

I still have the '85, it does complete the set. CL has them from junk at 1200 to 1500, decent and running at 3000 to 3500 and pristine at 6000.00.
You wouldnt believe how popular the 250R's are now.

Oh, I believe it about the 250r. I do check them out on occasion. Those 330 kits must be insane.

In my opinion all of those two strokers are insane. The 250R, the Tecate, the Quadracer and the Banshee. Crazy power.
I like the X for the same reason I like the GS1100, that low end thump.

Saw one of these for sale today on CL. Crazy looking kit. I never heard of one until today.

Oh my! A Big Wheel on steroids. That would be like trying to keep the front end down on a V-Max.
