      Sorry about your friend and congrats on the new project. I'm also an El Camino fan and looking forward to following this project.

      I had a '68 L78 El Camino bought off the original owner, a guy that lived in the neighborhood. The L78 package included an M21, 4:11 posi, and disc brakes. Fun car.

        Larry, I too am sorry to hear about your friend's passing. No doubt, Nina will be proud of her decision. Post up if you are trying to locate htf parts....you know I love a good search!

          Thanks Vmass. I appreciate that. I'm glad there's interest. This is a motorcycle site afterall. Ed, my brother, years ago had a '69 SS model and that car with a 396 would just melt the tires..so much fun for 20 year old hooligans..lol.
