      Take a close look at the usual cooling system components: radiator cap, thermostat, water pump, cooling fan & sensor, and hoses. Failures might happen during the next 1,000 miles. I had to replace some of those on my 87 CBR600 during the first year of riding.

        I know for sure that the 1986 Ninja 1000 still had soft valves. Had to fix a few.

          2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

            Valves had been done devil. guy walked away from bike when he saw the bill. Has new rings too.

              Link to todays video. Had to run a jumper from the temp sensor in the radiator to get a running fan. Used the carb tune to plug vacuum ports on carbs as i figured it was gonna need a good syncing but it was that far off. It sounds so throaty in person..i love it.

                Got a chance to break down front master cylinder and calipers for inspection last weekend and all was in great shape. Ordered brake pads and this saturday all mechanical issues should be sorted. I feel a little test ride sneaking up on me !!!!!!
