Yeah, Some Pretty Neat Old Vids...

Early Kawasaki ZZR1100 ZX11 TESTING VIDEO Running over 300 km - YouTube

kAWASAKI Ninja ZZR1100 ZX11 early testing video - YouTube

    180+mph, and nearly a 10sec (1/4 mile...).

I kinda like how the guy who got the best 1/4mile time politely nodded to (somebody) - probably a superior of some sort.

Test pilots... especially the guy who did the top speed run (and also featured in the 1/4mi runs).

I'd be really interested to know how they all turned out, like did they survive those years??

Wow, very cool. First thing that caught my eye was the very rider unfriendly track in regards to a crash.

When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

That is not a race track, so no crashes. Looks like a private oval test track with contoured banking designed for continuous high speed tests. No grandstands or track side buildings and surrounded by forest. .

Yesterday's sports bike is today's lardy old tourer.
        I'd still have one, though.
