i had a kz1000st great bike. i would snatch it up it might not take much to get her going and i think there are plenty of rod,and main bearings around , if you even needed, and surely a overbore isnt to much
it would be a new bike again, ready for another 97k!

the shaft is really smooth, but i prefer the chain, so i can change the sizes

After the third 700 mile day in bad weather that ugly useless weight is pretty nice to have.

Life, liberty, and the freedom to put what YOU want on YOUR bike that results in your happiness. You may even want to paint it brown.

What a great concept, someone should have written that down about 237 years ago.

Chuck, you are the class 1 asshat this time. He didnt ask for opinions on fairings, or to be made fun of because he needs them for his purposes, he asked for opinions on an old Kawasaki.

                    You didn't help him much.

I told him the bike itself looked great...given the fact it is covered with crap isnt my fault.

And my azzhat remark is for a thin skinned "youre on my ignore list" dude who needs to put on his big girl panties and toughen up some.

If my comments were that "hurtful"..then he is in for a tough road around here in the future!!!

He asked for thoughts...a form of a question. And based on the picture he posted, I gave my thoughts. He and you may not like that, but so what.
