Agree! Over powered is the order of the day....except when it comes to Harley's that is.

The dealers should install apes and tassels. Then they might get rid of a few.

Even the notching is not too bad. More badass.

1986 Suzuki Cavalcade GV 1400 LX (SOLD)

I find working on my motorcycle mildly therapeutic when I'm not cursing.

Maybe, but they aren't selling with that vibe.

Whether its currently under or over powered a few more ft lbs and a lower price may be what is needed to sell a few more of these bikes.

Give an 1100F a run for it's money too, in fact, was the fastest production motorcycle ever made in 1983. This is my Candy Glory Red 86, favorite Honda color of all time, also had an 80 CBX in the same color. Absolutely stunning in person. Enjoy!

                    But that motor. Very nice.

Not sure if it qualifies as over powered, but it seemed OK...

Wasn't there a non-US Suzuki retro that was made to compete with the new CB a year or two ago? Anyone remember this? I swear I read about it but now I can't find anything on the interwebs about it.

I had a guy on one of those Urals (???) with a sidecar ask me if my 1100g was the "New Retro". I walked a little taller the rest of that day. Guess the paint job and case polishing was worth it.

I ordered mine from my dealer 2 weeks before Honda announced they would be coming to the states, so my dealer never even had one get on his floor. He has another ( an ABS model) coming in next month.

The Honda dealership in Hendersonville, NC had several in the showroom and several more in crates, told me they hadn't sold ONE. Maybe you could get a discount from them, fly in and ride home? They have them listed for $7959.00
