That flange is just a locator stop for the bearing. You can run it that way if you want as long as there are no pieces still on it that could come off. I have 2 GSXR 750 transmissions that will drop right in if you need one.

Thanks for the offer Ray, but I got almost a complete trans for $60 off ebay and just got back from getting another new bearing pressed on.
Now I can finally start getting this thing back together.Comment
