Don't believe the online calculators.... but HP vs. an oil furnace, you will see some significant cost savings.

I am running 2 Gree units in my house. Electric baseboard for back-up( originally installed 28 years ago).

I am in Dartmouth, it gets cold here, it gets hot and sticky also. Before I put them in my heating bill, electric bill, was 900.00 in Jan, basically my power bill of the whole year was $5000, give or take. And the house was not really comfortable, basement was basically off limits in the cold season. House is 3200 sq ft. In the summer had to run dehumidifies flat out or would have major problems with mildew, mold and smells.

i have a 18,000 btu upstairs, 12,000 btu downstairs. Power bill is $313. Every month! Whole house is warm in the winter and manages to stay around 70f in the summer. Threw out the dehumidifier, heat pump takes care of that problem also!

best purchase I ever made, you will not regret it, just make sure it is a quality unit!

1983 Gs1100ESD, rebuild finished! Body paintwork happening winter 2017

I would rather trust my bike to a technician that reads the service manual than some backyardigan that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix things.
