    Honda CB forum?

My brother got his hands on a CB650, and encounters similar problem as I.

Is there a forum for this bike that compares (somewhat) to the GSR?

    Hints greatly appreciated.

What year? Nighthawk-Forums.com is one that doesn't have near the traffic as GSR but its been around for a long time and has a lot of content related to the CB I-4s. and has searchable posts.

It's a 1979, judging from what I can find on the frame numbers.

        Thanks guys!

Long time member there but it's mostly for sohc models. Few members have and discuss 650 models.

Eh, isn't the 650 also SOHC?

A 1979 version should be DOHC. Do you have a pic of the bike? Most Honda models went to dual overhead cams in 1979, 1978 is generally the last year for singles. Not terribly familiar with the CB650, though.

Last year of the CB650 SOHC was '82.
                  '83-'85 CB650 were DOHC.
