1932 Harley Davidson VL

For Sale: 1932 Harley Davidson - with Side Car: DRIVER NOT A SHOW PIECE it has dents and scratches but was put together with the intentions of driving around to enjoy, not be a trailer queen. As parts broke or were lost it was replaced with period correct parts or aftermarket restoration parts. Was believed to be originally a police bike so when grandfather purchased it already had "miss matched parts". It runs drives and stops I can show it to serious buyers only.
• Born as a 1936 (frame, fenders, tank, etc.), but titled per Engine code (1932)
• Older restoration - 2nd place winner at AACA Hershey, PA, in the 1970's."
• Owned since 1981 with Sidecar added in 1984, 99% complete
• Sidecar frame 1934, Sidecar from early 50s (same sidecar from 1936-mid 50s)
• Dark Blue with Silver and Red pin striping – sidecar hand painted to match
• Very Good condition, Always garaged/covered
Mechanical
• Rebuilt by licensed H-D specialist - Engine (~2014) and Trans (~2012) .
• Engine 1932 74" VL (~1200 cc) rebuilt with new parts from UK (VL Heaven)
• 3-R transmission – Tank-side shifter with Reverse gear
• New Battery, fresh carb rebuild starts on 5th kick !!
• Extensive parts documentation!!
