Yeah I went out there last week and it sure is a cool place. They have a lot of cool old bikes like a Kawasaki H2. No GSes though!!!

Still am not finding anything online, and the fools selling their rusty BS34SS carbs for 400 dollars aren't too interested in parting them out. If anyone here has an air mixture screw for BS34SS carb please please let me know!!!

Seems to me that the rebuild kit that Nessism linked is your best bet. Don't forget, what's shown in the picture is more than likely not the actual kit. On my 82 GS450txz there where several subtle differences in the carbs between models depending on rear tire and sprocket sizes. For the price of a $25 kit you'll probably spend more just trying to run that screw down aside from the actual price of that screw once you find it.

I am willing to try that out, my only concern is that it doesn't match the one I have exactly, it does look very similar. I guess my question is are the differences between the different air screws just the diameter which in turn lets in less/more fuel? Could I just use a fuel screw that is slightly different and just try to adjust it to work?

The Yamaha xs650 used bs34's, maybe this will work, I dunno. If it where me I'd go for the rebuild kit since you're going to want the o-rings anyhow.

So you think I should just buy the kit and try and see if they work? I will go for it, as I don't think I have many other options. Those Yamaha screws do look pretty similar they just don't have the little place for a oring at the top

Put about 30k miles on my 450 over the course of a couple of riding seasons and as mentioned I'll be up that way in a couple of weeks if you want a hand with it.

This thread has information on pilot crews for GS650 B32's. Went through this when another member was looking for a pilot screw for a carb on his GS650.
