Really? Joking? I thought is was too modern for most. I will get some more pictures up tonight then. The electric starter and gears are gone, different master cyl, no more key, the triple tree has been shaved, all electronics hidden and other misc tabs removed. I am riding the bike currently so the paint will look like hell till the fab work is completed.
Wow did the motor liven up when i removed the starter gears. Felt like a 10% power increase. I have tossed two trash cans full of junk off this bike and once i finish the exhaust it should reduce the weight even further.Comment

no, not joking. I love it! You didn't hack up the frame, and other than exhaust and instruments it looks pretty complete. Very clean, minimalist look to it. Bravo!Really? Joking? Chuck, I bought that exact bike in '73. I'd been into a dealership that sold hondas and yamahas, and decided on the twin TX750 because of the grief I had on my older '69 ( YEAH I KNOW...) cb750 with the carbs. of course I was only 22 yrs old or so.. After I had it a month or so and read in magazines about the balance shaft chains going limp in them, I got scared and imagined it was vibrating itself apart. I sold it quickly and then got a CB750F, which I promply trashed also hahahaLast edited by Guest; 07-19-2012, 07:58 PM.Comment

I believe it's high time I posted some pic's of my 450 in here given I haven't done so yet... and especially now that she's "finished" and I got some half decent pic's today...

Free exhaust completed. Please don't mind the MIG welds. Would have tig but old rusty chromed metal; i didnt want to be breathing in all the fumes for a long time and plus its getting wrapped anyways.
