How do I cap Tach opening?

I've ordered an electronic tach/speedo for my build. Now I need to figure out what to use to plug where the tach cable goes into the head on my 81 450. Any ideas would greatly appreciated.

Small freeze plug, make a small aluminum disk to fit

Katanas have them so they might fit.

        Use

JB Weld on the old tach cable fitting. Just enough to fill the hole.

You can replace the tach drive in most GS models with the block-off plug Suzuki used in later (electronic tach) models. Bike Bandit part nos. 1064353 (490253-001) for the plug and 1064362 (490260-001) for the seal band (or use the band from your existing tach drive). Less than $15. These parts are listed for the 1982 GS1100S, GS300 and others.
