i weighed my gsx 250 E engine while it was out of the bike, i was quite shocked it was about 50kg (110lbs) for about 30 bhp, anyone know what a 400\450 weighs ? i'm guessing not much more for 45bhp.

I thought the same thing when I had the engine out of my Skunk. Holy smokes this thing is heavy. -
I haven't weighed my 450, but I could lift the bottom end up onto the work bench by myself and I have nearly non existant upper body strength.
I imagine the bottom end is no more than about 30kg's, so I don't think it would be much different at all to the 250 once I get the top end back on.Comment
