Nice one Josh! So no more ticking at all then? Sound all gone and running smooth? I didn't even think of the tensioner...

Hmmm this is odd, took it for a ride this morning and had the same problem, it stalls and wont restart, eventually got it started though and got it home, now this afternoon i thought i would have a play and put my ear to the tank to hear the noise and sure enough its ticking away and rising with revs so i decided to turn the petcock to prime while the bike was running and the noise went away when the petcock was between normal and prime which i thought was odd?

Hmmm... try popping your fuel cap next time it happens, see if it goes away...

I'm wondering if you have your air vent in the tank blocked? Not sure if PRI would change the effect of that though so I may be thinking in the completely wrong direction here...

Looks like turning the tap afew times has fixed the problem.. will have to pull it apart and make sure nothing is blocking it.
