    Oil flush?

My bike had the classic gas in the oil. Someone must have left the petcock on prime. Anyway do I need to flush it out somehow? Or just drain the fill up with oil. BTW I am using shell rotella T 15w-40.

how can you tell if there's gas in the oil?

Also, how much oil is needed for an oil change (lost my paper that I had it written on )

Smell it. Also if it's really thin It could have gas in it.

remove the filler cap and hold a lit match over the hole. if you have no eyebrows left then there is a good chance there is fuel in there.
seriously, smell it.. if it smells of fuel, drain it and refill it. no need for a flush as the residual fuel will soon evaporate or get all mixed in to the new oil
