    Kickstart retrofit - possible?

    Quick question - Possible to retrofit a kickstart on a 1980 up GS twin ?

      Only by installing a complete engine from a '79 or older twin.

        No. Older engine will only line up with 3 of 4 mounts to start off with.

              Most electronic ignitions require good voltage to fire. Its probably not a coincidence that electronic ignitions came in the year that kickers went out.
