    1980 450T gear pedal

    Hey guys,

My gear pedal was replaced by the PO for some fabricated monstrosity way too big for my size 42s. I've already missed a few gear changes and the last thing I want is to lock up the back wheel whilst changing mid corner. I need to replace it, but an OEM is costing me at least ?25 with shipping. I'm half debating whether to do the latter or get some rearsets. What do you guys suggest? And if you've got rearsets, what have you got?

    Many thanks,
    DukeN

have you tried ebay, or putting an ad in the wanted section?
if you can get rearsets for that model they will be a lot more expensive than just replacing the OEM pedal.

    ps. welcome to the site

Hey mate, the only bolt on rear sets I'm aware of are Raask ones and they're going to set you back way more than 25 pounds!

I'd just go the OEM replacement or score one off eBay if you can like Agemax says.

I semi-fixed mine by replacing the heim joints with ones from a hobby store, but I really need to re-sleeve the pivot as it's flogged out and I occasionally miss a gear hear and there too.
