1980 gs250t exhaust???

Hi all
Well I'm in need of a new exhaust for the bike but don't seem to be having any luck finding one! Would the exhaust off a 1980 gsx400 fit as the is one local for cheap.

I don't think so.

Mainly because of the size of the head. Its almost identical to the 400 head but scaled down quite a bit. SO i'm thinking that the inner diameter of the exhaust ports is smaller than the exhaust for the 400 and the width between the pipes is different as well.

I wish I could get hold of a exhaust for it the don't seem to be any about anywhere in the uk I was hoping to get a second hand one money's really tight and I want to get out on the road in the sunshine rare thing in England haha! Need to find something that can be adapted to fit?

GS300 maybe would work.

You could get some pipe and have it bent to match yours and make your own exhaust system.

As long as the length and final mufflers are the same or similar in diameter and length.

The one for the 400 would require some work, you could bring yours and compare it to that one.

Finally found a complete 2-1 motad system for a reasonable price anyone need the can?
