Leaking oil from....? Wtf is this?

On my 550E, I'm leaking oil. Obviously as the title says.
The leak is coming from this free floating rod thats coming out of the trans.
It's roughly 6inches long and goes into the back of my clutch cable assembly( where the spring is) It seems like there is a rubber sleeve inside the hole that has torn. I'm almost sure that's where my leak is coming from.
Can anyone shed light on what this is, any steps i can do to stop the leak, and further prevent. It's caused me to go down once already. Need this issue fixed.

sounds like you are referring to the clutch pushrod oil seal. a favourite to leak oil. it can be replaced without stripping the engine

Where might I find one? We have a used parts store in town but I don't believe that's something I want to buy used.
Thanks for the input by the way!
