    Coils...

Just some info on Dyna blue coils I have installed on my GS750 frame.
I used some 90° shelf brackets. x4 (Ace hardware)
    M6-25mm coupling nuts. x2
    M6-30mm bolts
    M6 lock washers
Upper mounting bolts/nylocs/washers of your choice.

Like this - 30mm bolt through the coil, 90° bracket, lock washer, coupling nut for each coil monting bolt.

Now it looks like one of the offshore fishing boats... with the x4 outboards waiting to burn 100 gallons an hour LOL

Nice! I had no idea that those miniature coils were available.

45bpcr - I purchased some bulk spark plug wire on Ebay and then a 90° boot kit - this can be found at a local auto parts store - MSD made the kit I purchased.

                Talked to the wife today.
She told me a couple of packages showed up at the house.
Being the smart woman she is, she said one felt like "wire".
I'll head in-land nest week and put it all together.

I ordered solid copper wire so I could still use the new NGK resistor caps that took me forever to find for a reasonable price.

Thanks for cluing me in about those coils.

I finally got the time to install the Dyna coils last weekend.
It required longer bolts and I had to shorten the stock spacers by about 3/16ths of an inch (or 5mm) for you Euro guys.
The coils came with straight and 90° boots and the proper connectors.
The stock Suzuki primary wires plugged right in.
I made up some plug wires using 7mm bulk copper wire.
I didn't bother with number rings, I might be old but I can still remember 4.

These coils will throw a hot thick blue spark for about 3/8ths of an inch ( about 10mm) for you Euro guys.
The bike starts instantly and runs much - happier?

                  Thanks unfocused
