    Split cases (part question)

PXL_20231028_183918060.jpg I split the Cases on my 1150 and have a question about a part Suzuki calls "oil gallery nozzle" that sits in the far right side of the top case Crank shaft Journal. The Engine is going back together with high volume oil pump gears. Should I leave this in or take it out? I am looking for experienced builders opinions as to what would be the best way (leave it in or out) for oil pressure , flow etc.... Thanks.

Leave it. Suzuki put it there for a reason.

That's there to restrict the amount of oil going to the (roller) crank bearings. Removing it would get more oil to the crank bearings at the expense of the cam (plain) bearings. Not a good choice.

Leave them in. The restrictors give priority pressure to the bearing surfaces that the engineer deems critical in adverse (high temp/low viscosity/low pressure) situations.
