In rebuilding a stock gs1100e can you go to a 10.5 comp piston from the stock 9.5 without valve interference?

If it's just the higher comp pistons with stock lift cams then there should be no issues..
High comp aftermarket pistons will have the valve pockets machined with the appropriate clearance and in fact usually have the valve pockets deeper and wider than stock to accommodate larger valves and higher lift cams.Last edited by zed1015; Yesterday, 05:18 PM.Mikuni Viton Choke Plunger Seat Renewal.
