I have disassembled/inspected and am now replacing the cams in my gs1100e. The tech manual says the head has the cap letters stamped on to identify proper matching. I cannot find any letters on my cylinders. Cam any one tell me where to start and the sequence of the a/aa b/bb c/cc d/dd. and where to start the sequence. Exhaust or intake?

The caps have ABCD, and so does the cylinder head. Look close. There is no specific sequence to tightening the cam caps, just do a little at a time, and pull the cam down evenly. 6-8 ft-lb
