Does anyone know if the secondary drive gears are the same in a GS1100G as a GS1000G? Ive got a GS1000G motor to use for parts for my GS1100G IF the gears will fit. All i need to use are the gears, everything else in my motor is good. Any ideas?

You can go to places like http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm then check and see if the P/N's on both applications are the same.
if both are "G's" my checking says they are. -
I actually thought about this after posting. I checked bike bandit and i would assume its just as accurate as alpha-sports. The P/N checkes out on bike bandit as well, so i guess as long as i dont find the internals of the 1000g engine to be damaged then it should be ok. Thanks for your help.Comment
